Field 057: Assessment of Professional Knowledge: Primary (PK–5)

Alignment of OAE Assessment of Professional Knowledge: Primary (PK–5) Assessment Framework with Ohio-specified Standards

This alignment study identifies the national and/or Ohio educational standards that are addressed in whole or in part by each competency of the assessment framework. An indication of alignment does not necessarily imply complete congruence of the content of an OAE test competency with the relevant standard. The information in this document is subject to change if revisions are made to the assessment framework. Any changes will fully supersede the information contained in this document.

Note: In addition to the national Educational Preparation Standards and Ohio Educator Standards included in the alignment study, the assessment framework includes the Ohio Learning Standards-Extended (OLS-E) opens in a new window. as a resource for providing appropriate scaffolding and differentiation for students with significant learning needs.

*The Ohio Assessments of Professional Knowledge (APK) are strongly aligned to the Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession, the basis of the Ohio Teacher Evaluation System (2.0 Model).
